The Awe of Music: Music awe is a feeling of reverential respect mixed with wonder. But what is music? Music is vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined to produce beauty of form, harmony and expression of emotion. It has rhythm, melody, and emotion as it tells a story.
The AWE of music is personal and can be transformational. Music touches the soul. This is why certain songs make us listen over and over again. We sing along with them over and over again. The words to a song mean something to the writer but could mean something totally different to the listener. The rhythm of the music moves us. It becomes personal.
